Postponement or Cancellation due to COVID-19: If you have chosen to postpone your Wedding Day/Function/Event due to the current health crisis I completely understand.

At this stressful time my job and industry is suffering but I know you too are suffering, both emotionally and financially! I am here to help you through, this may mean looking at many and different options for each couple or person and this is absolutely ok! It is my hope that together we can achieve the ideal outcome for your day or event.

There is no fee or penalty to transfer any deposits/booking fees or payments to a new date. If you have chosen to cancel your booking and have paid a deposit/booking fee or paid in full, this amount is non-refundable but can remain as a credit towards a future appointment under compliance with Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if needed. 

Note: Every appointment is time I have booked specifically for you, this means declining other appointment requests or anything else. Please be mindful of this if you need to cancel your appointment. If something happens beyond your control which might affect your ability to attend your appointment, it is required you advise me as soon as possible.

NO SHOW APPOINTMENTS: If you are running late or lost phone me on 0412168068. Once your appointment has reached 10 minutes past your booked time, I will contact you. If you cannot be reached 15 minutes past your booked time your appointment will be cancelled and a 100% cancellation fee applies. Should you wish to book any future appointments, full payment will be required to make a booking.

CLIENT CONFIRMATION (non-wedding bookings): You will be contacted by your preferred method of contact the week of your appointment to confirm the date, time, location and requirements of your appointment as provided by you at the time of booking.

A confirmation response is required to ensure your booking is not cancelled. 
Contact will be attempted a total of three times using the details you provide, should you not respond it will be assumed that you no longer wish to keep your appointment and a 100% Cancellation Fee will apply.

CLIENT CONFIRMATION (wedding bookings): Wedding confirmations are sent at various times through the lead up to the booked date. A receipt for your records is sent (once Booking Fee/Deposit and completed Service Agreement are both received) – it is required you check over all details and corrections made if needed. At the time of your Trial all details will be checked over both at your appointment and then by written format in your Trial follow up and request for feedback. A Final Confirmation is then sent 2 weeks prior to the day. It is your responsibilty to check thoroughly at each confirmation stage to ensure your Wedding Day File always has correct details.

A confirmation response is required to ensure your booking is not cancelled.

CLIENT CANCELLATION (non-wedding bookings): If you can no longer keep your appointment please contact me at least 72 hours in advance to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. Cancellations at least 24 hrs before the booking, but within​ 72hrs will attract a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 1 day (24 hours) of a booking will attract a 100% cancellation fee.

CLIENT CANCELLATION (wedding bookings): Wedding bookings require a minimum of 4 weeks notice prior for cancellation or adjustment of numbers, if you choose to cancel or reduce booked numbers within this time you will still be required to pay for all cancelled services (you are most welcome to find other family/guests etc to take the vacancies). If your Wedding is postponed I will hold your non-refundable Booking Fee/Deposit or payment and transfer it to your new date.

If your new date is unavailable, you will not be refunded your Booking Fee/Deposit.

If you have fully paid for your wedding services:

If you cancel your wedding prior to 14 days notice you will not receive any of your payment**.

If you cancel your wedding prior to 4 weeks (30 days) and no less that 15 days  notice you will receive 25% of your payment.

If you cancel your wedding prior to 60 days and no less that 31 days you will receive 50% of your payment.

If you cancel your wedding prior to 90 days and no less that 61 days you will receive 75% of your payment.

*No notice of cancellation; 100% Cancellation Fee applies.

* *Please understand I would have received other enquiries and could have booked other weddings for your date.

All other Booking Information will be supplied to you upon your enquiry.
If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian will be required to make your booking and deposit payment on your behalf.

- Wedding dates and trial dates will not be held unless a deposit is paid.

- Quotes are only valid for 30 days and the price is not locked in unless the booking fee is paid.

- 72 hrs. Notice must be given prior to any rescheduling of trials; otherwise you will be charged a full cancellation fee equal to the cost of the trial.

- Cancellation fee for Makeup Artist booked for trial covers loss of income caused by the cancellation.

- Call out / travel fee covers transport to and from destination, packing up of kit etc for the mobile service and time taken to travel. ( I cannot book in jobs during my travel time)

- An additional of 25% surcharge applies to all service(s) on public holidays and an extra of $60 per hour surcharge for services prior to 6am and after 6pm.

- Travel costs by the service provider is charged at: the ATO rate of .75c per kilometre round trip and free up to 30km radius from Service provider’s residence.

I charge the same for the trial as I do for the day because I spend the same amount of time, usually more time, plus I document everything I use onto a face map app. I use the same high quality products on your trial as I do on your wedding day. (Technically a trial should actually cost more as there is more time and product involved)

I. If you decide not to participate in a pre-wedding trial, I will not be held responsible or liable in anyway, if you are dissatisfied with any part of my service on, or after your wedding date. The wedding day is not the day to decide what colour lipstick you should wear!

2. Any makeup trial exceeding 1.5 hours will be charged at an extra hourly rate as per the price of the trial.

3. Any hair and makeup trial exceeding 2.5 hours will be charged at an extra hourly rate as per price of the trial.

4. Bookings for trials will not be held unless a nonrefundable deposit is paid prior to the trial.

5. Any parking associated costs for the Makeup Artist will be charged to the bride. I will be carrying my kits, chair and lights so Valet parking will be required at city hotels.

6. Contract for makeup services for your wedding are to be filled out and signed on the day of your trial or emailed to Vikki Aldridge within 7 days. 7. The date for your wedding will not be held until deposit for your wedding has been paid.

8. The Makeup Artist at your trial will also attend to you and your party on your wedding day. In the unlikely event that the Makeup Artist is severely ill or is unable to attend due to serious unforeseen circumstances a replacement Makeup Artist will be provided. All face maps and information from the trial will be passed over to the replacement Makeup Artist.

9. In the case of large wedding parties Vikki Aldridge will employ assistance from another Makeup Artist. Extra fees may apply.

10. Vikki Aldridge has the right to cancel your booking after a trial and refund the deposit in the unlikely event the client has unrealistic expectations and/or is un-reasonable or rude, providing that we have exhausted all remedies and have done our professional best to accommodate the client.

11. Your pre-wedding trial is for wedding trial only. If you would like makeup for your hen’s night or a special occasion, then you will need to book for that service. As you can appreciate, makeup for your wedding is different to makeup for a special occasion or your hen’s night. If you would like makeup for your hen's night/event then that can be included into your package.

12. The Bride will ensure the location of the trial (if not at studio) and location of the wedding day is a safe working environment and a smoke free zone.

13. Location of trial and Wedding day services will be in a smoke-free environment.

*Non-refundable Deposit for Cancellations

1. 72 hrs. Notice must be given prior to any rescheduling of trials; otherwise you will be charged a full cancellation fee equal to the cost of the trial. 2. Cancellation fee for Makeup Artist booked for trial covers loss of income caused by the cancellation.

3. A (non-refundable) booking deposit of 50% must be paid to secure your wedding.

4. A (non-refundable) booking deposit of 100% must be paid to secure your trial.

*Payment in full for the wedding must be paid within 21 days of the wedding. If full payment is not received then artist/s will not turn up.
